Board of Trustees Meeting

November 26, 2002



Dale Prior called the meeting to order


Board members present:  Dale Prior, Russ Stocek, Rick Heinz, John Ross.  Also present, Joy Church.

Fire District #40 Committee Report:  Russ Stocek reported on the quarterly Citizens Advisory Committee.  New fire station is in planning stages and will replace the aging station at 180th and Benson


King County Sheriff’s Report:  No report at this time.


Treasurer’s (Bookkeeper) Report:  Reviewed and approved financial statements.

Reports that only one homeowner has not paid dues for 2002.  Dues statements for 2003 to go out on the 1st of January.


Landscaping Report:  Sign cleanup put off till next spring. County is going to give us a bunch of trees and ground cover plants to put on the hillside.  Punchlist items from the road project are on hold until some money comes in to finish the work. Will keep in touch with them about it.


Architectural Control Report:  No new issues to report


Community Relations Report: No report


Social Committee Report:

Would like to thank Rod and Carin Moore for planning and hosting the Halloween Costume contest.  All had a great time and all kids received a gift.

HOLIDAY PROGRESSIVE DINNER: Mark your calendar now for the 4th annual progressive dinner to be held Saturday, December 7, 2002.  Watch your mailbox stand for further information.


140th Construction Committee Report:

Jim Nold is working on having a bus stop put in at the Woodward entryway.


Blockwatch Report:

Kickoff meeting is going to after Thanksgiving.

Please turn on porch lights, keep an eye out for your neighbors. If you see anything suspicious call the sheriff.

Let a neighbor know when you’re gone so they can pick up newspapers or turn on lights in the house.


Old Business:

Please remember the new rules for dues paying. We will be very aggressive this year.

Late Fees and Penalties for Homeowner Dues.

January 1 – Initial Invoice mailed.

February 1 – Homeowner Payments Due.

March 1 – Delinquent Letter mailed.

April 1 – 20% of initial dues is added.

May 1 – 50% of initial dues is added.

June 1 – Lien is filed against homeowner’s property plus $250 for legal fees.


Gazebo and Sport court toys are on hold for now.


New Business:

            Will have a special meeting in January to discuss and vote on the direction we will take RE: Tract N. More info to follow in letter from the president.

Russ Stocek is organizing the Holiday Decorating contest. Homes will be judged by all board members.
