February 26th, 2008

The Meeting was called to order at 7:05 by Dale Prior

Board Members present: Dale Prior, Joyce Keil, John Wruble,  Joy Church, Rob Wick, and new Treasurer, Laurie Wu. Also present, Dave Keil

King County Sheriff’s Department: Not present

Fire District #40 Report: Not present

Financial Report, Joy Church: 10 more homeowners are left to pay dues. Late notices will start going out in mid March. Thank you for those who have paid on time.

Committee Reports:

Landscaping: Rob will organize the aerating/thatching weekend for the 12th and 13th of April.

Rob and Dave Keil will do lighting at the entrances in the spring.

We will get a crew together to fix the boards on the play set, replace the slide, pressure wash the play set and the sport court. Joyce will be getting in touch with the original contractor who installed the play set and the sport court.

We also need to paint all of the mailbox stations.

Architecture Control:

John has composed a letter that has gone out to the homeowners which addressed such issues as painting, oil stains, moss, cars parked on the street, trash containers being left out, and pets unattended.

A homeowner in the Gables has requested that he wants to remove some damaged trees behind the house. He has been given the ok.

Old Business:

HDR engineering came and gave a presentation on what the plan is for the water pipeline. They will not be running the pipeline through Elliott Farm property and instead have requested a 1 year temporary easement in an area down the hill just over onto our property. Compensation has been offered and this is being discussed with the Lawyers.

Joyce has purchased 8 safety cones to put out when kids are playing. We will have 4 for Woodward and 4 for Gables. If you would like to take one of these to put out, please call Joyce at 425-430-4433.

New Business:

Laurie Wu has joined the Homeowners Association as Treasurer. Thank you Laurie!

Meeting adjourned at 8:25. Next meeting will be on Tuesday, February 26th at 7PM at Nativity Lutheran Church.
