The minutes were read by Sherry Rosenlund and approved.

Fire District #40 representative B C Moe was present.  Because of recent events reported in the media, he would like to get the message out to everyone to KNOW YOUR SURROUNDINGS when in public facilities; i.e., know where all the exits are and where the closest one is to you at all times.  Also, he reminds us: KNOW WHEN TO LEAVE.

Officer Sam Shirley was present.  Concern was raised regarding high speed on 140th.  He will check into temporary radar signs and be patrolling more for speeders.  Violent Crime in this area is low; however, car theft is high.  He has requested bike patrol during daylight hours.  Officer Shirley now has a permanent office inside Albertson’s by the check stands.

Joy Church provided the Board with a current financial report.  Second notices will be mailed to those 16 homeowners with unpaid 2003 dues.  REMINDER TO HOMEOWNERS:  LATE CHARGES WILL BE APPLIED FOR PAYMENTS RECEIVED AFTER MARCH 30, 2003.

Shawn Martin was present and reports SPRING CLEAN UP is planned for April 19th.   Contact Shawn (425-235-8261) to sign up for use of the aerator. The cost will be $5.00 per user.  Basketball and Pickle ball nets will be repaired for Spring/Summer use.

There are 2 new requests for Architectural Control approval.  One was approved and the other is pending additional information.  John Ross reported the Gazebo move will begin in June as well as signs for the Tot Lot and Sport court.

REMINDER TO ALL HOMEOWNERS:  ALL ADDITIONS OR CHANGES TO THE PROPERTY (DWELLING AND/OR YARD) MUST BE APPROVED BY THE ARCHITECTUAL CONTROL COMMITTEE

Community Relations is happy to report new homeowners in the Gables.  Please welcome new neighbors Joshua & Rachael Shea.

Rod Moore was not present; no specific date at this time for May GARAGE SALE.

No additional report on 140th Construction.
