Renton Fire Dept: The fire department representative talked about summer safety tips. He also noted there is a statewide burn ban. The board asked questions regarding fire pit regulations.
Secretary: The minutes from the June meeting were approved as read. The April minutes need to be distributed.
Treasurer: John will request a monthly statement from Joy. There is still one homeowner who has not paid the dues. John will ask Joy about the process in handling late payments and when to send notices.
Landscaping Chairman: The sprinklers in the tot lot have been repaired and the electrical box has been replaced. Some zones are not working and we may need to have the irrigation company come back out. The potential cost for the additional repairs could be upwards of $500. The board voted and approved the expense so that the sprinkler system is fully working.
Architectural Control Chairman: Linh reported that one homeowner is considering adding a new roof but has not filled out the paperwork.
Rental Property Chair: One homeowner asked the board to reconsider their decision regarding the ability to rent out his home. After discussion, the board decided to stay with the original decision.
There are currently two homes on the rental wait list.
National Night Out is August 7th. The board discussed having a similar event as last year with the BBQ. John will ask some homeowners for use of their BBQ grills.
