Treasurer: Meg reported that there are still a few homeowners who are late in paying their HOA dues. Approximately 96% of dues have been collected to date. We are on balance for expenses.
Landscaping Chairman: Gordon reported that he did a walk through with the landscaper. Six trees need to be removed from the Woodward entrance, they are too dry and could pose a fire hazard. This will be at a cost of $100/tree for a total of $600. The board is considering other alternatives. Some shrubs need to be moved around and the blood grass will be removed. The pampas grass at the Gables entry will be removed at a cost of $600. The landscapers will also clear the trail and rake up the loose rocks at the base of the cul-de-sac. This weekend they will aerate and thatch the common areas.
Gordon updated the board that the lighting project at the Woodward entrance is complete. The board extended its thanks and appreciation to Mark Cadle for all of his help toward this project.
The fence around the sport court was also discussed. The options to consider so far are putting a chain link fence or a natural fence of shrubs or ivy.
Architectural Control Chairman: Sean reported that he received two submissions. One for a storage shed for a home in the Woodward and one for a small garden fence for a home in the Gables.
Old Business: Lighting project for the Woodward entry is complete. Aerator and thatcher will be delivered Friday night for homeowners use the weekend of 4/30, 5/1. The board will consider options for the fence around the sport court.
